sugar free candy !!~sugar free candy,
taffies and hard
candy buttons NOTICE: These products are no longer available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our sugar free candy and chocolates are sweetened with maltisorb and maltitol, not lactitol or splenda. It tastes just like sugar! From my experience as a diabetic, the "effective" carbs are much less than the rated carbs, because they pass through the body before absorbing. Some people estimate that only 1% of "rated carbs" absorb. Others say as high as 30%. Our experience is that the amount absorbed is negligible. I'm a diabetic and take this very seriously. I have no spike with our candies. My dad eats a few every night before bed (a bad time) and stays in heavy ketosis. Just don't overindulge, and check your ketosis (or blood sugar if diabetic). See for yourself. Also, see "eating tip" at bottom of page. Our sugar free candy and chocolates are sweetened with maltitol and maltisorb, not splenda or lactitol. Tastes just like sugar! She made fruit pies with plenty of maltitol syrup- nice and sweet! They diligently tracked their blood sugar before eating a piece of pie, and for a few hours after eating it. They had NO "sugar spike"!
